For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Lake Wancoole get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Lake Wancoole. Do stop at Lake Lewis in close proximity to Lake Wancoole, it's a lovely lake. Lake Wancoole sees pretty       high levels of precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid site to camp here at Lake Wancoole is Powell's Campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Choccolocco Creek. Camping at Big Bull Campgrounds is always a tremendous experience; if you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Pell City is a good choice. So many exciting things to do at Lake Wancoole, so little                  time. It's a pleasant idea to stop at Fannin Branch, it's near Lake Wancoole, and you don’t have to go far from Lake Wancoole to see the water at Wancoole Dam.
