Piney Ridge Branch flows through this area, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Lenson Montz Ponds. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Payne Lake Nature Trail is always a     pleasant adventure. At Lakeland Farms Dam Number One close to Lake Miriam there are some attention-grabbing things to see.
