Lewis Dam is worth a visit while you're here; from Lake Lewis you acquire a brilliant panorama of Savages Mountain. Lake Lewis usually gets much rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is October. year at Lake Lewis comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while Lake Lewis nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in
the 20's.
A good place for whitewater paddling near Lake Lewis is Choccolocco Creek; needless to say Fannin Branch is a gorgeous stream that is worth taking a look at. After a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Pell City is a great location to spend a night or two; don't leave Lake Lewis without first paying a visit to Dunlap Spring.
