Bulls Creek is a stunning stream that is worth visiting; get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Talladega Creek. Be careful coming to Lake Howard, you might not ever want to go back home again. Howard Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out, and during your journey here you'll meet some folks from Talladega-Sylacauga for sure. | |

There's so much to do here at Lake Howard that you need to camp here for a while, Logan Landing Campground is a tremendous site for that.
Stay the night at De Soto Caverns Park, and you'll hit upon a delightful lake called Sylacauga
Reservoir. Summertime highs at Lake Howard typically tend to be in the 90's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Lake Howard descend into the 30's.
