Camping at De Soto Caverns Park is always a good experience, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Talladega Creek. Lake Howard is a wet place that gets a great deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is March, and October is when it's the driest. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. You don’t have to go far from Lake Howard to see the water at Howard Dam, and perhaps

| | you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Sylacauga Reservoir is just a very short distance away. You're possibly addicted to lakes, Tallaseehatchee Creek Watershed N is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular place for folks from Talladega-Sylacauga, and as expected Bulls Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth going to. course, mostly in the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 50's with temperatures at Lake Howard dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Sylacauga is a good spot
to spend a night or two, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Hatchet Creek. Camping is available at Logan Landing Campground, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SYLACAUGA is a pleasant place to get some rest.
