During the months of summer at Lake Henry highs are generally in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's, and night lows at Lake Henry throughout the wintertime generally sink into the 30's. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if       it's for you then we recommend Cheaha Creek, and close by you stumble on the Odum Trail which is a good hiking trail. And that's not all you can do here at Lake Henry. Do stop by Headricks Lake close to Lake Henry, it's a charming lake, and you can stay the night at Country Court RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Sleep Inn Oxford is a good location to spend a night or two, and a stunning lake like Cheaha                  Lake is a great spot to take a look at. There's whitewater on Salt Creek for all you adrenaline kick people, and if you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ANNISTON/OXFORD is a great choice. The high level of precipitation makes Lake Henry a relatively wet place; throughout the month of March you get the most rain around here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
