There's so much to do here at Lake Gerald that you need to camp here for a while, Fernwood Point is a great location for that, and there are other locations here than Lake Gerald, for example Clay County Lake. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do right next door to Lake Gerald. There are some good whitewater spots on Salt Creek, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Odum Trail.
