In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sipsey Fork; SUPER 8 MOTEL - JASPER is a delightful spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lake       Galoria that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Mcdowell is a perfect location for that, and going for a hike along the Borden Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Through the summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Lake Galoria with overnight lows in the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are frequently in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Galoria dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. The high level                  of precipitation makes Lake Galoria a relatively wet place; throughout March this area sees the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Lake Galoria Dam has nice water scenery and it's close to Lake Galoria, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Braziel Creek Trail.
