Why not take a refreshing hike along the Odum Trail, and Turner Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. This lake is so wonderful. Cane Creek RV Park and Campground is a good local campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Cheaha Creek offers some       great whitewater. If you're popping by Lake Edmond from Anniston-Oxford, you won't be the only one, and if you came for an overnight stay Country Court RV Park is a great place to camp. High temperatures at Lake Edmond throughout the months of summer are in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 60's.
