High temperatures at Lake Dixie through the summertime months are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and night lows all through
the wintertime for Lake Dixie tend to be in the 30's. A splendid site for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Lake Dixie is Cahaba River, and lots of people from Birmingham-Hoover come here. Not far from Lake Dixie, you'll hit upon Lake Helen which is a beautiful lake, and Pelham Koa Kampground is a pleasant campground nearby.
