If you go for the outdoors, you'll love Lake David. You can run the rapids of Salt Creek in close proximity to Lake David, and at Lake David you always meet someone from Anniston-Oxford. There's whitewater on Cheaha Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. The high level of       rainfall makes Lake David a pretty wet site; most of the rain falls through March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
