High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's; night lows at Lake Cottaquilla through the wintertime commonly drop into the 20's. Lake Cottaquilla is near Cottaquilla Dam       which is a charming location definitely worth visiting, and Super 8 Motel - Anniston is a good place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Stoney Brook Golf Course is a fine way to kill some time; if you need a location to stay University Inn and Suites is a brilliant choice. Lake Cottaquilla usually gets a large amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest of the months is October. Lake                  Cottaquilla is a perfect location to visit for more than one day, Cane Creek RV Park and Campground is a perfect location to camp nearby, and if you get bored of Lake Cottaquilla you could also take a look at nearby Harper Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You might want to pay a visit to Rabbittown Gap while you're here at Lake Cottaquilla. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. On a beautiful day you acquire a sight of Ben White Point from Lake Cottaquilla; a lake close by is Shelton Lakes.
