     Very fine water scenery is available at Thomas Cherry Dam close to Lake Cherry, and lakes are such serene spots, why not explore Bruce Pond Number One. Lake Cherry is a quite wet place frequently with a large amount of rain; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is October. High temperatures at Lake Cherry throughout the summertime months are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. Through the  
   winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and overnight lows at Lake Cherry through the winter ordinarily descend into the 30's.
Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are beyond doubt abundant here at Lake Cherry. You'll discover a delightful lake called Bruce Pond Number Four near Lake Cherry, and if you came for an overnight stay Baker's Trailer Park and Campground is a good site to camp. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Little Uchee, and a good close by
 
               hotel is Hampton Inn Suites Opelika I85 Auburn Area. Chewacla State Park is a wonderful campground nearby; if you come at the right time of year, Mulberry Creek offers some good whitewater.
This lake is so wonderful. At Lake Cherry you always meet someone from Auburn-Opelika; after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Opelika is a perfect spot to spend a night or two.
