A visit to Lake Cherry is always a good idea. You could also pop by Bruce Pond Number One if you're here at Lake Cherry; it's close by, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Little Uchee. All through the summertime months highs here at Lake Cherry reach the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. | | Cherry? Bruce Pond Number Four is around here; Lake Cherry is good enough to spend more than a day at, Baker's Trailer Park and Campground is a good local campground. Lake Cherry is a relatively wet place ordinarily with lots of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March, and October is when it's the driest. and get drenched paddling on Mulberry Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Opelika-Days Inn; Lake Cherry is not far at all from Auburn-Opelika. A good location to camp here at Lake Cherry is Chewacla State Park; after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Opelika is a great place to spend a night or two.
