It used to be one of the best public pay access lakes in the state for large bass. Was more of a spring fed swamp back then and has been blasted and manicured with apartments and homes (waterfront) The old spring house and the original dam are still in place. All through the warm days of summer at Lady Ann Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Lady Ann Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. A lake close by is Williams Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Country Hearth Inn Madison. On a great day you can take a look       at Bailey Swamp, a swamp in the vicinity of Lady Ann Lake, and you're sure to encounter some friendly folks from Huntsville here. This lake is so wonderful. A quick journey to Betts Spring Branch near Lady Ann Lake is a great idea, and camping is available at Ditto Landing. This lake is so wonderful. So much fun stuff close to Lady Ann Lake, simply amazing. Lady Ann Lake is not the only spot nearby, Swan Pond is a nearby lake, and if you need a spot to                  stay Radisson Inn Huntsville Airport is a magnificent choice. If you came for an overnight stay Monte Sano State Park is a fine site to camp, and the panorama of Betts Mountain is charming. Mary Ann Drake Dam is picturesque and it's next to Lady Ann Lake; do put some time aside to spend at Betts Spring while you're here at Lady Ann Lake.
