High temperatures at Kornegay Lake all through the days of summer are in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Kornegay Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful       site to camp here at Kornegay Lake is Lakeside RV Park, and needless to say Mooney Creek flows through this neighborhood. Kornegay Lake gets a good deal of water; through March this area sees the most rain; September on the other hand is the driest. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Windwood Inn Brent/Centerville is a brilliant place to get some rest, and perhaps you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Lake Ponderosa is just a very                  short distance away. Dry warm beds await you at Greystone Inn and Suites; get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Six Mile Bend.
