Why not camp at University Station RV Resort since you're here at Kimbrough Lake, and if you need a site to stay Sleep Inn & Suites is a nice choice. At Kimbrough Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Kimbrough Lake. If only every       place had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great globe it would be. At G E Kimbrough Dam next to Kimbrough Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see. All the water falling down from the sky makes Kimbrough Lake a wet place; March is the wettest month with most rain while October is frequently the driest month. You'll meet a lot of folks from Tuskegee here; Leisure Time Campgrounds is a tremendous local campground. If you come at the                  right time of year, Stone Creek offers some great whitewater; dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn Auburn.
