Hincle Lake is a lake in the neighborhood, and you're sure to encounter some cheerful people from Auburn-Opelika here. Kilpatricks Lake gets lots of water; most of the rain falls throughout March; October meanwhile is the driest month. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs usually are in the 90's at Kilpatricks Lake. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are       in the 50's; during the dark hours in the winter at Kilpatricks Lake temperatures descend to the 20's. Hinkle Dam has pleasant water scenery and it's near Kilpatricks Lake, and camping is available at Baker's Trailer Park and Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Near Kilpatricks Lake you hit upon a golf course called Rolling Hills Golf Course, and a magnificent nearby hotel is Auburn Marriott Opelika Hotel & Conference Center at Grand National. Now, you may feel                  that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Kilpatricks Lake. Sougahatchee Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if you came for an overnight stay Chewacla State Park is a tremendous place to camp.
