A large amount of rain falls at Kilpatricks Lake; March is when you get the most rain here, and October is the month with the least moisture. Very glorious water scenery is available at Hinkle Dam near Kilpatricks Lake, and Best Western Auburn/Opelika Inn is a delightful location to get some rest. Kilpatricks Lake is not the only site close by, Floyds Lake is a close by lake;       there are plenty of people from Auburn-Opelika here at Kilpatricks Lake. During the warm months, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Kilpatricks Lake while night lows are usually in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Kilpatricks Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Baker's Trailer Park and Campground is always a good experience, and there's whitewater on Sougahatchee Creek for all you                  thrill seekers. A lake close by is Hincle Lake; a golf course nearby is Rolling Hills Golf Course. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time.
