Camping at Kilpatrick Lake is delightful fun, Baker's Trailer Park and Campground is a delightful local campground, and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flat Shoals River. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Valley, Al is a great site to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Halawaka Campgrounds and Grocery is a good place to camp.       Whitewater paddling is perfect on Mulberry Creek. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Valley for sure. Kilpatrick Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through the month of March you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is October. At Kilpatrick Lake throughout the summertime highs are in the 90's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's.
