Throughout the summertime at Killough Lake highs are regularly in the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Killough Lake. This lake is so       wonderful. At Killough Lake you can spot Mallory Mountain, and if you're visiting from Talladega-Sylacauga, you won't be the only one. Take a little trip to Hudson Branch while you're here at Killough Lake, and glorious water scenery is available at Harkins Dam close to Killough Lake. There are other spots here than Killough Lake, for example Harkins Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Childersburg. Be careful coming to Killough Lake, you might not                  ever wanna go back home again. Stay the night at De Soto Caverns Park, and if you need a place to stay Key West Inn-Childersburg is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. Killough Lake is a pretty wet place usually with a great deal of rainfall; all through March this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October.
