     A brilliant nearby hotel is Hampton Inn Suites Opelika I85 Auburn Area, and unsurprisingly, this is a pleasant region for folks who like lakes, Fullers Pond is a lake close at hand. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Little Uchee, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Skinners Lake. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Kellys Pond. Summer overnight lows descend down to  
   the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Kellys Pond are in the 30's.
Some of the water nearby flows, like Adams Branch; at Kellys Pond you always meet someone from Auburn-Opelika. The high level of precipitation makes Kellys Pond a relatively wet place; the month with most of the rain is March, and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Econo Lodge Opelika is a great place to get some
 
               rest. There's so much to do here at Kellys Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Sawyer's Mobile Home Estates is a pleasant spot for that.
You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the area near Kellys Pond has to offer. Kellys Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Chewacla State Park is a delightful local campground, and there's whitewater on Chattahoochee River for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
