At Kellys Lake throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's while night lows are usually in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 50's while Kellys Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. Any time is a great time at Kellys Lake if you love the outdoors. Kellys Lake is a rather wet place regularly with a lot of rain; all through the month of March you get the most       rain around here, and the driest month is October. A lake close by is Tallaseehatchee Watershed Number Six Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Choccolocco Creek offers some perfect whitewater. There's so much to do here at Kellys Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Logan Landing Campground is a good site for that, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Talladega. After a long day outdoors Mc Caig Motel is a magnificent place                  to spend a night or two; lots of people from Talladega-Sylacauga come here. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Talladega Creek in a kayak.
