Jordan Lake is a reasonably wet place       generally with a great deal of rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. You could also pop by Dunnings Pond since you're here at Jordan Lake; it's nearby, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Alexander City is a glorious place to spend a night or two.
