Boiling Spring is always fun to check out, and the scenery at Jones Dam is beautiful. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Choccolocco Creek, and if       you came to camp De Soto Caverns Park is a glorious place to do that. Throughout the summertime months at Jones Lake temperatures are commonly in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Jones Lake.
