Jones Lake is not the only location close by, Lanier Lake is a close by lake, and you'll probably meet some folks from Valley here. A lake nearby is Hill Lake, and Flat Shoals River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. All the outdoors amusing things in the neighborhood of Jones Lake will keep you coming back again and again. Barrow Creek is right next door       to Jones Lake and is always a bliss to go to, and for you golfers we recommend close by Riverside Country Club. For the duration of the summertime highs here at Jones Lake get into the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's.
