     You're sure to stumble upon some smiling people from Huntsville here, and lakes are such calm spots, why not check out Lipscomb Pond. Monte Sano State Park is a wonderful local campground, and from Johnson Pond you obtain a wonderful vista of Bell Point. Johnson Pond is a wet place that gets a great deal of precipitation; March is when you get the most rain here, and August meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Shoal Creek  
   for all you adrenaline people.
If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll like Johnson Pond. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Cotaco Creek It's always great to pop by Laceys Spring. At Johnson Pond through the warm months highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Johnson Pond are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at
 
               Ditto Landing since you're here at Johnson Pond; dry warm beds await you at Radisson Suite Hotel Huntsville.
Don't forget to take a splendid little trip to Kay Branch, and you'll come across a pretty lake called Rock Pond. A tremendous site to take a look at next to Johnson Pond is Dry Creek Cove, and after a long day outdoors Hampton Inn HuntsvilleArsenal/S Pkwy is a pleasant place to spend a night or two.
