Johnson Pond is a lake worth visiting. Johnson Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; all through the month of March you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is August. Don't forget to take a great little visit to Kay Branch, and the view of gorgeous Bell Point is delightful. Shoal Creek has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Radisson Suite Hotel Huntsville is a fine site to get some rest, and a short visit to Laceys Spring is always worthwhile. Pond fall into the 20's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. People from Huntsville love to come to Johnson Pond, and a glorious site to camp here at Johnson Pond is Monte Sano State Park. Dry warm beds await you at Marriott Huntsville; a great spot to take a look at nearby is Dry Creek Cove.
