This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Johnson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mc Calla Koa Kampground is a nice site for that; dry warm beds await you at Value Place Bessemer. You'll discover a striking lake called Million Dollar Lake near Johnson Lake; whitewater paddling is tremendous on Six Mile Bend. Summertime highs at Johnson Lake regularly tend       to be in the 90's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's while Johnson Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. The high level of precipitation makes Johnson Lake a rather wet spot; during March this area sees the most rain, and September meanwhile is the driest month.
