At Johnson Lake Dam near Johnson Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Little Uchee. There are other locations here than Johnson Lake, for example Lake Whatley, and Johnson Lake is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Baker's Trailer Park and Campground is a nice place to camp nearby. Johnson Lake gets a large amount of water; throughout       the month of March you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful. Davis Lake is a great lake in close proximity to Johnson Lake, and Chewacla State Park is a good local campground. All through the warm months at Johnson Lake temperatures are usually in the 90's, and the overnight is a tad colder of course, usually in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 50's; overnight lows at Johnson                  Lake throughout the wintertime usually descend into the 30's. Robinson Creek flows through this neighborhood, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites OPELIKA AUBURN is a magnificent place to get some rest.
