There's so much to do here at Johnson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Baker's Trailer Park and Campground is a great spot for that; this is a popular site for folks from Auburn-Opelika. All the water falling down from the sky makes Johnson Lake a wet place; all through the month of March you get the most rain around here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Johnson Lake has to offer, you can camp at Chewacla State Park. Summertime highs at Johnson Lake mostly tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. During
the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's; overnight lows at Johnson Lake during the wintertime ordinarily dip into the 30's.
