A visit to Jackson Lake is always a good idea. There's so much to do here at Jackson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Chewacla State Park is a great site for that, and if you come at the right time of year, Little Uchee offers some magnificent whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Rolling Hills Golf Course, and float down the rapids of Sougahatchee Creek in a kayak. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Jackson Lake has to offer, you can camp at Baker's Trailer Park and Campground; since you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Auburn-Opelika.
