A visit to Jackson Lake is always a good idea. High temperatures at Jackson Lake throughout the summer months are in the 90's with overnight lows in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Jackson Lake. So much entertaining stuff near Jackson Lake, just incredible. Fairfield Inn & Suites Auburn Opelika is a tremendous spot to get some rest, and an afternoon playing golf at Rolling Hills

| | Golf Course is always a delight. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant nearby hotel is Best Western Auburn/Opelika Inn; a brilliant place for whitewater paddling is Little Uchee. Baker's Trailer Park and Campground is a nice local campground, and you can run the rapids of Sougahatchee Creek. Lots of precipitation falls at Jackson Lake; March is the month that gets the most rain; October is when it's the driest. There are other places here than Jackson Lake, | |
