    Why not stop by Jack Duke Lake if you're passing through these parts. For the duration of the summertime months at Jack Duke Lake temperatures are mostly in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Jack Duke Lake during the wintertime mostly descend into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Mimosa Golf Course, and lots of folks from Tuscaloosa come here.
 
   There's so much to do here at Jack Duke Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Spillway Campground is a great place for that, needless to say you could also visit Cain Lake Number 3 since you're here; it's not far at all. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Jack Duke Lake is so good! Going for a hike on the Payne Lake Nature Trail is always a great adventure; dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Tuscaloosa. Jack Duke Lake sees pretty high levels  
               of rainfall; through March this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October.
Stay the night at Payne Lake Westside Campground, and Jack Duke Lake is not the only place close by, Lake Duke Lower is a close by lake. If you need a spot to stay Country Inn And Suites By Carlson Tuscaloosa is a tremendous choice, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to see at Jack Duke Lake Dam next to Jack Duke Lake.
