Summer brings highs in the 90's to J L Morrison Lake Number Two. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 50's, and night lows at J L Morrison Lake Number Two through the wintertime mostly sink into the 30's. All the water falling down from  
   the sky makes J L Morrison Lake Number Two a wet location; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest month of the year is September.
There's so much to do here at J L Morrison Lake Number Two that you need to camp here for a while, Spillway Campground is a delightful site for that, and after a long day outdoors Windwood Inn Demopolis is a splendid location to spend a night or two. Bills Branch is a lovely stream that is worth visiting, as expected
 
               you could also check out Lenson Montz Ponds while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. J L Morrison Lake Number Two is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Payne Lake Eastside Campground is a pleasant local campground, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Payne Lake Nature Trail.
