Irving Pond usually gets a good deal of rain; most of the rain falls all through March, and October is when it's the driest. The warmest time of the year at Irving Pond comes with high temperatures in the 90's; the nighttime is quite cooler of course, usually in the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Irving Pond temperatures dip to the 20's. This lake is       so wonderful. A fine place to camp here at Irving Pond is Joe Wheeler State Park, and there's whitewater on Sipsey Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Saltwell Bottom is something you shouldn't miss while you're here at Irving Pond, and Irving Pond is right by the Borden Creek Trail. Moulton Days Inn is a wonderful place to get some rest; there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Brushy Creek. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Irving Pond                  is unbeatable! Don't forget to take a good little journey to Naughan Creek, and at Irving Pond you always meet someone from Decatur.
