     Irving Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Dead Lake Fishing Lodge is a splendid local campground, and La Quinta Inn and Suites North Mobile Satsuma is a perfect place to get some rest. All the water falling down from the sky makes Irving Lake a wet spot; the month with most of the rain is August, and October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps can be such exciting places, pop by Mallard Fork if you're here  
   at Irving Lake, and why not stop by close by Alligator Bayou since you're here at Irving Lake. You clearly ought to love Irving Lake. Irving Lake is not the only place close by, McVoys Lake is a close by lake.
Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Irving Lake. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 70's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Irving Lake. A delightful location to camp here at Irving
 
               Lake is I-65 RV Campground, and after a long day outdoors Courtyard Mobile Spanish Fort is a fine spot to spend a night or two. You're sure to bump into some wonderful folks from Mobile here, and if you get bored of Irving Lake you could also have a look at close by Byrnes Lake.

Dead Lake Fishing Lodge

The Dead Lake Lodge is now the River Delta Marina and Welcome Center. It was purchased by Mobile County and is ow operated by their Parks Dept.

Campsites, boat launch, rentals, and boat slip rentalas are available. The fishing in this remote bit of the Mobile/Tensas river delta is very good for bass, bream and catfish.
Access to excellent hunting for deer, wild hogs, ducks and small game can also be found along these waterways.

The campground has four camping cabins, RV and tent sites, laundry and a small pool. Limited groceries and bait are available at the camp store.

I think she must have made some calls and got Dr. DeBakey to come down to the emergency room to sew up my lip. I remember that someone place a green cloth over my face with a 3 or 4 inch circle in the middle of it. I received the most painful shot that I had ever had but soon all of the pain was gone. I could look down my nose and see them working on me and I remember how funny it felt to see them sewing me up and pulling on my face without really hurting. It was just a kind of pinching sensation. I got stitches in my lower lip and chin. We went to the dentist the following Monday and the dentist told my Mom if we still had the tooth he could put it back in and there was a chan...
