Gantt Lake RV Park is a great local campground; do go to Dogwood Lake, it's a delightful lake. And if that's not sufficient, there's lots more to do close to Indigo Ponds. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Indigo Ponds; Conecuh Trail is a delightful local trail. The high level of rainfall makes Indigo Ponds a reasonably wet spot; March       is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent close by hotel is Comfort Inn Andalusia, and golf can be played at Evans Barnes Golf Course. The Lake Shore Trail offers hiking at its best; if you need a location to stay Best Western Andalusia Inn is a pleasant choice. During the summer months highs here at Indigo Ponds reach the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into                  the 60's.
