     You can take a little spree to Hyde Lake Dam while you're here at Hyde Lake, and Payne's RV Park is a great local campground. Hyde Lake gets much water; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while October is usually the driest month. Heritage Acres Recreational Vehicle Park is a brilliant campground nearby; a lake close by is Number Six Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Hyde Lake is not far at all from Florence, and after a long
 
   day outdoors Key West Inn Tuscumbia(Shoals) is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. So much amusing stuff to do at Hyde Lake, so little time. If you need a place to stay Best Western Russellville Hotel & Suites is a fine choice; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Bear Creek. At Hyde Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime  
               this place gets highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Hyde Lake through the winter frequently plunge into the 20's.
Don't forget to take a magnificent little visit to Hargett Creek; Frazier Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by.

The rest of the year can be high or low anytime....The land on each side of the creek is private property. Camping is not allowed. There is only an emergency exit easment on each side of the creek. If you camp you will be trespassing....
