Dogwood Point is close to Hollis Pond and is a glorious location to take a look at; camping is available at Bremen Lakeview Resort. At Hollis Pond throughout the long summer days highs are in the 90's; the overnight is quite cooler of course, regularly in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's while Hollis Pond night low temperatures through the       wintertime are in the 20's. If you come at the right time of year, Rice Creek offers some tremendous whitewater, and Days Inn Cullman is a great site to get some rest. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Mulberry Fork, and why not camp at Foxfire Campground while you're here at Hollis Pond. Hollis Pond Dam is a place that is next to Hollis Pond, and if you're visiting from Cullman, you won't be the only one.
