     After a long day outdoors Super 8 Defuniak Springs is a good spot to spend a night or two, and if you came for an overnight stay Florala State Park is a great site to camp. Holley Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. Throughout the months of summer here at Holley Pond, high temperatures usually get into the 90's, and during summer nights  
   temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's while Holley Pond nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. Moccasin Branch is a wonderful stream that is worth visiting.
Best Western Opp Inn is a glorious site to get some rest, and needless to say, this is a wonderful region for folks who like lakes, Adams Pond is a lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Sunset King Lake RV Resort is
 
               a good local campground, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Thomas Pond.

Our resort is on King Lake, which is approximately 580 acres and is well stocked with black bass, crappie, shellcracker, and bream. Large bass catches are a regular happening and the lake has yielded a 17 1/4 pounder. Bream weighing in at 2 pounds and greater, along with 3 pound crappie have been caught on many occasions.

We have large campsites that can accommodate any size RV, from personal campers to the ''Big ''Rigs'', with water, sewer, 30 & 50 Amp electric service, and cable TV. WIFI is also available ($).
You can relax in our quiet atmosphere or spend time with friendly neighbors and have the companionship of fellow RVers. Come to the clubhouse for a bite to eat, play some games, work on crafts, read a book, or just look out over the beautiful lake and surrounding countryside.
