All the water falling down from the sky makes Hill Pond a wet spot; the wettest month       of the year is usually March, that's the one that rains the most, and August on the other hand is the driest. Lots of people from Scottsboro come to Hill Pond, and if you fancy a little side visit, try Becky Hollow. Good hiking is available along the Winding Stairs; since you're here and you like golf, you can check out Goose Pond Colony Golf Course.
