Hill Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Glide down the rapids of Jones Creek in a kayak; a spree to Gizzard Point is always a great idea. During the warm months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Hill Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. For the period       of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 40's, and overnight lows at Hill Pond through the winter mostly plunge into the 20's. Paddling on Turkey Creek is so much fun, and close by you find great spots like Becky Hollow. Camping is available at Green Acres RVs Park, and going for a hike on the Winding Stairs is always a great adventure. Why not camp at Crawford RV Park since you're here at Hill Pond, and Comfort Inn & Suites is a fine spot to get some rest.                  This lake is so wonderful. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. If you need a site to stay Econo Lodge & Suites is a nice choice, and in the neighborhood of Hill Pond you stumble on a golf course called Goose Pond Colony Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful.
