There's so much to do here at Hill Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Blanton Creek Park is a tremendous site for that, and getting to Barrow Creek from Hill Lake is simple. This is a       popular location for people from Valley, and if you come at the right time of year, Flat Shoals River offers some tremendous whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful close by hotel is Days Inn, and Hill Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, 3 Creeks RV Park is a good local campground. If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Lanett is a glorious choice; if you're interested in hydro structures, you can have a look at Timmons Dam. The high                  level of rain makes Hill Lake a pretty wet location; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. For the period of the summer at Hill Lake highs are ordinarily in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's.
