If you need a spot to stay Rodeway Inn Phenix City is a good choice, and a great site to camp here at Heath Lake is Halawaka Campgrounds and Grocery. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Little Uchee; a lake nearby is Hubbard       Lake. Through the months of summer here at Heath Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and night lows at Heath Lake all through the wintertime frequently sink into the 30's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Mulberry Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
