The beauty of Heath Lake is reason enough to stop by. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Heath Lake. If you're visiting Heath Lake from Auburn-Opelika, you won't be the only one. Heath Lake is a rather wet place ordinarily with much rain; July is the wettest month with most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. Paddling on Little Uchee is so much fun; Sawyer's Mobile Home Estates is a great local campground. You can take a little spree to Heath Dam if you're here at Heath Lake; dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Phenix City. This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of Mulberry Creek in a kayak; getting to Whites Creek from Heath Lake is painless. | |

After a long day outdoors Ramada Limited Phenix City is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and Heath Lake is a tremendous site to visit for more than one day, Halawaka Campgrounds and Grocery is a tremendous site to camp nearby.
