This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. There's nice hiking along the Conecuh Trail, and camping is available at Point A Park Campground. This lake is so wonderful. A great spot to camp here at Harrelson Pond is Gantt Lake RV Park, and Best Western Andalusia Inn is a delightful place to get some rest. For you golfers we recommend close by Evans Barnes       Golf Course; pleasant water scenery is available at B O Gunter Lake Dam in the neighborhood of Harrelson Pond. Harrelson Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Harrelson Pond; Lake Shore Trail is a splendid local trail; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Andalusia. High temperatures at Harrelson Pond all                  through the summer are in the 90's; the night is a tad cooler of course, ordinarily in the 60's.
