There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Talladega Creek. Harkins Lake usually gets a lot of precipitation; March is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. If you came for an overnight stay De Soto Caverns Park is a magnificent location to camp, and you can make out Cave Mountain from Harkins Lake. You just must like Harkins Lake. If       you're here at Harkins Lake, you could take a look at Bryant Branch; there are plenty of people from Talladega-Sylacauga here at Harkins Lake. Harkins Dam is an exciting thing to check out, and if you need a spot to stay Childersburg-Days Inn is a nice choice.
