If you come at the right time of year, Chitwood Creek offers some nice whitewater, and needless to say Mining Pond Branch flows through this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. The sight of gorgeous Raccoon Mountain near Hanna Pond is brilliant, and don't leave Hanna Pond without first paying a visit to Maynor Spring. This lake       is so wonderful. Camping at Barclay RV Parking is always a wonderful experience, and dry warm beds await you at Key West Inn Boaz. If you're stopping by Hanna Pond from Albertville, you won't be the only one, and Best Western Colonial Inn is a tremendous site to get some rest. Summertime at Hanna Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's                  while the cold winter nights at Hanna Pond are in the 20's. Hanna Pond truly is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Drury Bynum Gap is a magnificent spot to look at, and Whippoorwill Golf Course is a golf course nearby.
