Hamilton Lake is a nice lake to visit. Hamilton Lake is a pretty wet place usually with a large amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. There's so much to do here at Hamilton Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Chewacla State Park is a good site for that, and a lake nearby is Orr Estates Lake. If you don't mind

| | getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sougahatchee Creek; you'll meet a lot of people from Auburn-Opelika here.
This lake is so wonderful. Hamilton Dam is worth going to if you're here, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites OPELIKA AUBURN is a glorious site to get some rest. Hills Golf Course is a great way to kill some time.
Hamilton Lake is not the only spot close by, Orr Estates Pond is a close by lake, and if you need a spot to stay Fairfield Inn & Suites Auburn Opelika is a splendid choice. Summer
brings highs in the 90's to Hamilton Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Hamilton Lake.
