     Hallmans Lake is always a pleasure to visit. High temperatures at Hallmans Lake all through the warmest time of the year are in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's, and night lows at Hallmans Lake through the winter frequently fall into the 20's. A perfect place to camp here at Hallmans Lake is Wind Creek State Park; get yourself into a kayak and hit Elkahatchee Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched
 
   paddling on Hatchet Creek, and you're almost certainly interested in lakes, Brooks Farm Pond is one of those close by. After a long day outdoors Best Western Horseshoe Inn is a pleasant place to spend a night or two; if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Talladega-Sylacauga. Camping is available at Whispering Springs Campground. Lakes are splendid; Jones Pond is a lake that's right next door to Hallmans Lake.
Hallmans Lake is a wet place
 
               that gets a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March; October on the other hand is the driest. If you love the outdoors, you'll like Hallmans Lake. Getting to Bow Creek from Hallmans Lake is easy, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Alexander City.

I am planning a trip to Weogufka Creek in a couple of weeks. Any info. regarding trees down or other obstructions would be helpful. We will do County Rd. 15 to Low Water Bridge only....Put in at coosa county management 119 and get out at the bridge is a good short trip with lots of sights......
