This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Haleyville City Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Mcdowell is a pleasant site for that, and soar down the rapids of Bear Creek in a kayak. Haleyville City Lake is a wet spot that gets       a good deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is December, and October is the month with the least moisture. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Haleyville City Lake. Kilpactrick Dairy Lake is a perfect lake in the vicinity of Haleyville City Lake, and Best Western Russellville Hotel & Suites is a glorious place to get some rest. At Haleyville City Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's. Throughout                  the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 50's; overnight lows in the 20's for Haleyville City Lake. There are other places here than Haleyville City Lake, for example Theo League Lake, and paddling on Hubbard Creek/Sipsey Fork is so much fun. Go for a hike on the Borden Creek Trail, and after a long day outdoors Wynnewood Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
