Not far from Guytons Lake you acquire some great water scenery at Guytons Lake Dam, and Oxmoor Valley Golf Course is a golf course close by. At Guytons Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 50's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Guytons Lake tend to be in the 30's. This       lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Cherokee Beach Kamper Village is a great location to do that; some of the water close by flows, like Martin Brook. If you come at the right time of year, Cahaba River offers some magnificent whitewater.
