Gum Pond is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Anthony's Mobile Park is a delightful place to camp nearby, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Phenix City is a good site to spend a night or two. the 30's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. A beautiful lake like Keystone Lake in the vicinity of Gum Pond is a magnificent location to take a look at, and you don’t have to go far from Gum Pond to make out the
water at Willow Lake Dam. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Gum Pond has to offer, you can camp at Sawyer's Mobile Home Estates; soar down the rapids of Chattahoochee River in a kayak. Gum Pond gets a large amount of water; throughout July this area sees the most rain; the driest month is October.
