A visit to Gum Pond is always a good idea. Gum Pond gets a lot of water; March is the wettest month with most rain; October is the month with the least moisture. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lake Shore Trail, and camping at Gantt Lake RV Park is always a delightful experience. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Andalusia, and some close by water includes Persimmon Creek. A perfect place to camp here at Gum Pond is Point A Park Campground. The Conecuh Trail offers hiking at its best, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Andalusia Inn is a great site to spend a night or two.
