Gallant Lake
 | 1 PHOTO This lake has been around for a long time. Years ago, before the I-20/59 interstate was built, it was indeed a great place to fish as I understand it. Now the lake is full of vegetation and difficult to fish or navigate a boat. Also difficult to enter and launch a boat as the roads leading in are washed out and muddy.... |
KOA Birmingham South
 | 17 miles away Just stopped here on our way north from the Florida panhandle.? Great stopover spot, extemely convenient to I-65.? Clean, neat campground, great bathrooms and showers, friendly, well-informed staff, and the area has all the basics travelers like us are interested in---food, shopping, RV stores, food, food, etc.? I know this would also be a nice spot for a longer stay.... |
