But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Greer Lake. At Greer Lake you can spot Taskigi Mound, and Greer Lake is a location with many visitors from Montgomery. Get your heart pumping on the pleasant whitewater of Coosa River, and camping is available at Capital       City RV Park. Greer Lake is a wet site that gets a great deal of rainfall; March is the month that gets the most rain; October is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Greer Lake during the months of summer are in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 50's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Greer Lake sink into the 30's.
