A lake close by is Lake Galoria, and there are plenty of folks from Decatur here at Grayson Lake. If you came to camp Arrowhead Park is a good site to do that, and get dripping wet paddling on Sipsey Fork. Grayson Lake is a reasonably wet place commonly with a good deal of rain; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Grayson       Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hidden Cove Resort is a great site for that. Summertime highs at Grayson Lake typically tend to be in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Grayson Lake. Take a hike on the Braziel Creek Trail, and naturally East Fork Beech Creek flows through this vicinity. And that's not all you can do here at Grayson Lake. If                  you get bored of Grayson Lake, you could also visit close by Brushy Creek Lake, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Brushy Creek. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Moulton Days Inn is a good site to spend a night or two, and perfect water scenery is available at Grayson Lake Dam near Grayson Lake.
