Do stop by Grayson Lake while you're in this part of Alabama. The high level of precipitation makes Grayson Lake a relatively wet place; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest month is October. After a long day outdoors Moulton Days Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two, and drift down the rapids of Sipsey Fork in a kayak.
